a few days ago i was lucky enough to be invited to take some shots of an absolutely gorgeous 5 month old baby in geneva – when i arrived he was fast asleep, i couldn’t help but get the camera out – he looked sooooooooooo sweet, and so peaceful.   after giving his lovely mum and me enough time to enjoy a coffee he woke and smiled and from then on was a total star !    we did some portraits in the sunny flat and then we all wandered over to the beautiful park and took some more photos of him cuddling his mum.  

i had a wonderful morning with them both and i can’t wait to show his mum the portraits of her little one very soon

his mum and dad have asked to keep his "gorgeousness" all to themselves and who can blame them

i hope they will enjoy the images of his early childhood for a long time to come  x

here’s part two of Joppe & Eline’s wonderful wedding in switzerland – after the ceremony in the fairytale chateau d’aigle they had arranged for two special carriages on the mountain train to take the whole wedding party up to the reception at La Domaine des Sources in the mountain village of les diablerets   -  champagne flowed and i’ll let you guess which carriage was family and which friends !   please click here to see part one of their wedding, and here for the pre wed shoot.

last time i was in london we went to the natural history museum for the first time in yeeeeeears, i think the last time must have been a school trip in the 19….’s – too long ago  – anyway we had brilliant day out and some cool shots too, if you go definitely take your camera …

there are certain nights when you can sleep over at the museum now – in the dinosaur hall – how brilliant would that be ?!!!!

woohoo !   eline & joppe are home … so here’s part I of their wonderfully happy wedding at  the chateau d’aigle at the end of lake geneva.

eline & joppe are an amazing couple – they are just so full of fun and happiness that i knew it was going to be a brilliant day !   they had arranged to meet at their flat before the ceremony and when joppe arrived with eline’s beautiful bouquet the sheer happiness was just magic !   they were travelling to the chateau d’aigle in eline’s dad’s car which he’d driven down from the netherlands (wow! i want one), and after me leaning out of the window on the motorway to get a few shots we got there early enough to do some gorgeous couple shots with the chateau as a backdrop.    then they greeted their guests and everyone went inside to a beautiful old beamed room in the 13th century castle for the wedding ceremony given in both french and dutch so that their friends and family could follow.

Sonia Grimm propose des spectacles tendres et colorés, dans lesquels elle est accompagnée d’enfants comédiens qui chantent, dansent et se déguisent en divers personnages tendres et amusants. Ses spectacles se jouent toute l’année à guichets fermés et ses spectacles de Noël font salle comble dans les plus grandes salles de Suisse Romande (Montreux, Géneve, Lausanne, ..)

Amoureuse des enfants et de la nature, Sonia ne trouvait pas dans le commerce les chansons tendres et entraînantes qu’elle rêvait de faire écouter à ses enfants.  Elle a comblé cette lacune en composant de superbes mélodies qu’elle accompagne de sa voix douce et chaleureuse et dont les textes sont emprunts d’une poésie pleine de fraîcheur.

Pour la deuxième fois à Massingy, nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir Sonia Grimm le samedi 26 juin à la salle des fêtes.  L’APE et son producteur ce sont donné les moyens d’amener, enfants et parents pour la découvrir ou redécouvrir pendant plus d’une heure.  A la fin du spectacle Sonia a pris le temps pour chacun de faire une dédicace, un bisous aux petits comme aux grands.

on saturday i spent the day with a very talented reflexologist, Margot Chirat and her business partner Christine Blom, who does fab massages.  they had a stand at the ‘kermesse’ / end of year school party at the International School in Geneva organised by school’s PTA – and believe me the visitors to the kermesse were queuing up for very relaxing treatments …
