here is part two of jo & paul’s beautiful beautiful wedding at the ashes near stoke on trent – the ceremony started with their gorgeous little girls coming down the aisle with angie and closely followed by jo and her very proud dad, a beautiful sight that brought a tear to several eyes, mine included . Chrissie Southgate, their registrar who is a great family friend, conducted the ceremony which was sooooooo full of happiness and joy. Afterwards all the guests looking fantastic in their black & white finery spilled out into the late summer ‘magical’ sunshine and enjoyed a champagne reception ….

the final part of this day along soon – promise !
Mr & Mrs T are brilliant and so was their wedding day at the ashes !!! i’ve been lucky enough to have photograph them and their lovely lovely twins 2 or 3 times over the 18 months i’ve known them, including their pre wedding shoot in March, and have really enjoyed each occasion – they are all so fun & so natural in front of the camera … and they are just soooooooooooo happy !
their black and white wedding day started at the hotel where jo and the girls, her mum and angie, her bridesmaid, were all busy getting their hair & make up done – bucks fizz in hand ! Jo looked beautiful and sooooooooooooo calm bearing in mind that the girls were tearing round the place mega excited and had been awake since before five. at about half past ten we all set off for the venue, the ashes, near stoke on trent, where we were met by Joanne – wedding coordinator extraordinaire, who showed everyone into the ‘dairy room’ where they could all get ready. Jo looked absolutely stunning in her gorgeous strapless dress with sparkles and a stylish train and the little girls looked just scrumptious in their bridesmaids frocks.
i knew their big day was going to be special and it was an amazingly happy day. after a quick rain dance performed by Paul and Mark, his best man, even the weather decided to behave so in spite of the morning’s pouring rain the sun came out 20 minutes before the ceremony just in time for the arrival of their guests – how perfect is that ?!!!

a quick rain dance and then 15 mins later ….. !!!
