well i’ve had to keep this pre pre wedding shoot secret for what seems like ages,         a month ago i was contacted by damien who had the most brilliant idea for a proposal of mariage ever !   he was creating a photobook of his life with his gorgeous girlfriend from when they met, the people that are dear to them, all the holidays they’d been on, the places that mean something to them … you know the sort of thing we would all love but we never make the time to create,   his idea was to finish the book with a photo of his asking for her hand in mariage on their anniversary  … how romantic is that !!!

soooooooooooooo in the utmost secrecy we set out one sunny afternoon to the beautiful lakeside in annecy  to take photos of him proposing (and have i mentioned the ring ? beautiful !!!)

last saturday i met up with the brilliant eline and joppe in their home town of lausanne to do their pre-wedding photo shoot.   we met at the musée olympique on the shores of lake geneva (lac leman – i’m never sure which to put !?!!)  and after a quick coffee and a good chat about all the cool things they have planned for their big day, and after they had showed me the most amazing invites i’ve ever seen, we started the photo shoot.  

inspired by the sporty surroundings they got into the swing of things with the newly invented ‘pond leap’ event, closely followed by the handstand trial.   the gardens there are lovely so even though we weren’t particulary lucky with the weather we still had fun taking great shots of them.  we  finished up the lausanne part with a quick visit to a beautiful and very ornate thai temple in the gardens set back from the lake.  after lausanne they took me to see where the ‘big day’ is going happen – wow !!!!     the chateau d’aigle is just beautiful, surrounded by vineyards with mountains in the background ….

 i can’t wait for mid june – their wedding is going to be fantastic !    x

last saturday i met up with the very brilliant eline and joppe to do their pre wedding shoot – we had a great time taking shots in the beautiful gardens of the Olympic Museum in lausanne,  and i couldn’t resist posting a couple straightaway …

what a brilliant pre wedding shoot this was !   i have known this lovely couple for a while now and have been lucky enough to do lifestyle shoots with them and their gorgeous daughtersin the past, so it was a real joy to be asked to do their pre-wedding shoot just over a week ago.  they are so happy and at ease in front of the camera that it is great fun to be with them – they laugh all the time !!!

 they are moving to canada soon and i’m sure they will all have a fantastic time there, an amazing place to live judging by the photos they showed me.  i wish them all the best with the move and i’ll keep my fingers crossed that paul gets ‘his’ house !

last weekend i met up with the gorgeous kate and sebastien so we could do their pre-wedding shoot in annecy.   we met up in a café by the lake, sat outside on the terrace in the sunshine for the first time this year, chatted over coffee and decided to do the shoot around the lake visiting some of the places they want to have shots taken on the big day…. i never knew there was a red telephone box here in annecy, but the carousel is a great favourite and backdrop to everything of the snow covered mountains and blue lake is just fab.   they are getting married at the end march in the beautiful Palace de Menthon where i was lucky enough to do shots for a masked ball earlier in the year – stunning location. 

we had a great time and as you can see they were complete naturals in front of the camera and we got lots of beautiful shots, here are just a few of my favourites ….

 can’t wait to see them again – i just know it’s going to be an amazing day, and i’ve seen a sneak preview of the dress … what else can i say but wow ! 

how gorgeous are these two ?!!!!    this is just a little teaser and the first pre wedding shot from a brilliant afternoon yesterday, spent in annecy near the lake with the gorgeous kate & sebastien.  they were great fun and were so natural in front of the camera it was a joy to work with them …  thank you both …
