the gorgeous divya & yann chose to have their wedding reception at the chateau de coppet, not far from geneva – what a venue !!!   a champagne reception in the evening sun, then a delicious meal prepared by yann’s friends & colleagues from the ‘president wilson hotel‘ in geneva and some very funny games dreamt up by the bridesmaids and best men!    the first part of the evening was topped off with a brilliant argentinian version of throwing the bouquet – involving pulling rings out of a cake, prettiest ring for the next bride, then an amazing sparkler covered wedding cake ….  a brilliant brilliant day !

here’s part two of carol & narinder’s beautiful beautiful wedding (part one) …. after the ceremony the guests spilled out onto the front lawn to enjoy champagne and ice creams from the surprise ice cream van !  the wedding breakfast and very funny and very moving speeches followed – and the chinese lanterns floating into the clear sky marked the start of the evenings festivities and we left them dancing away into the night ! 

a big thanks to the wonderful Jo & Si from Shoot – it was brilliant working with you again !!!

it was a magical day – and i wish them a magical long and happy life together  x

what an absolutely perfect way to celebrate a very special wedding anniversary !   some of this lovely family live in scotland and the others in northern brittany so they all came together for a week on a big family summer holiday near the beautiful town of annecy, near the french alps.    to mark the occasion i was invited along on the last morning of their stay to take pictures of them all in the sunshine. 

it was a really fun morning – and a big thanks to the kids for making everyone giggle !   x

wow !  what a really really specially fabulous wedding !   special for lots of reasons -  first of all the gorgeous bride & groom , carol & narinder, and their fantastic kids and family and friends.  secondly because once again i got the chance to shoot alongside Jo & Si from Shoot who were doing photography and filming, as always they were an absolute joy to work with.    

when we arrived this is the view that greeted us  – the stunning and sumptously decorated Carlton Towers in North Yorshire – smiley excited faces were the next thing to greet us – a hugely happy buzzy atmosphere of anticipation. … the start of a brilliant day !  

carol & narinder i wish you both a very long happy and healthy life together full of laughter  x

this lovely family were celebrating a very important anniversary whilst on holiday together near annecy.   to mark the occasion they decided to have a family portrait shoot done before they headed back to brittany and scotland at the end of their stay.
