on thursday i went to london to collect my runner up prize in the Annabel Williams photographic awards.  the champagne presentation was at the Getty Image Gallery just off Oxford Circus – what a place – amazing images on the walls and mine there as well amongst all the other award winners ! 

it was brilliant to see Annabel, Catherine, Jane & Jo again, and finally meet AJ, especially at such a special place !

i met some great people – Jo & Si Broadhead (Shoot Lifestyle Wedding Photography) who won the wedding album category with an absolutely stunning album – they were fantastic and agreed to meet with me beforehand so that i didn’t have to go in alone ! many many thanks !!!

i also met up with Sarah Wright (Sarah Wright Photography) – winning portrait album – a brilliant photographer from sussex, and John Archibald (Taking Time) who came runner up in children’s portrait category with an image i would love to have on my wall !

after the ceremony off to enjoy a little pimms or two and a laugh !

A very talented photographer from Cyprus Sofie Louca was the deserving winner of the Canon 5D mkII – she came runner up in the wedding album category and won the teenager category with her unique HDR images.

a brilliant day – made very special by the lovely people present ! 

I was thrilled to find out that i came Runner Up in the Portrait Album category of the Annabel Williams Photographic Awards 2009 !  The album was of a family shoot i did with Karin & Francois and their girls – it was great fun and i hope that shows in the shots !

I’m really looking forward to the presentation at the Getty Images Gallery in London at the end of the month !  I’ll let you know more later
