wow … i can’t believe it’s a year already since Jo & Paul’s wonderful wedding at the ashes near stoke on trent.   the day was absolutely perfect, in part thanks to Paul’s rain dance late morning, but mainly because it was just bound to be because they are such a very special couple.  i know they have had a very busy year and i’m absolutely sure that it has been a very happy one too !

jo & paul’s : prewed shoot, wedding part one, wedding part two wedding part three

i had an absolutely brilliant time on saturday morning with this couple.  we met in the cafe du monde in grandvaux to chat about their upcoming wedding party, then despite the sweltering heat we set off to get some great shots – seriously they are so happy i don’t think they ever stopped smiling for the whole time we were together.   they are planning a very intimate wedding in a fabulous location with just a select group of close friends and famlily, so i’ll keep it that way and just show you these teasers ….

i can’t wait to see them again in a fortnight for their special day   x

myriam is great fun and has a wicked giggle too – we spent late saturday afternoon (when the temperature had dropped a little tiny bit to a mere 32°c) taking some portrait shots of her down by the lake in Lausanne.  the blinding sun avoided we headed to the shade for the photos and then to a cafe and an ice cold drink to recover  …  perfect end to a brilliant day !

The sumptuously gorgeous Hotel Trois Couronnes in Vevey was the setting for the last part of Claudia & Yves‘s amazing day – drinks on the terrace with the sun setting on Lac Leman before going into dinner in the beautiful dining room surrounded by their guests waving celebratory sparklers.   speeches and surprises were the perfect end to a perfect day ….
