what a brilliant idea for a surprise christmas present for dad – a family portrait shoot! sally, her gorgeous kids and i met up on a beautiful sunny morning not long before christmas to take some photos of the children down by the lake in annecy near the Hotel Imperial. they all settled into the starring roles like pros – grinning, bubble blowing, jumping off benches … not to mention general larking around with each other – i just love how natural they all were, in fact they were so at ease there that even sally was tempted in front of the camera.

and to finish off this brilliant mini shoot ? ….well what could be better than
a seriously seriously chocolateley hot chocolate in the stylish bar at the Hotel Imperial – scrumptious !
