what an amazing day – i arrived at the beautiful village of remaufens, near lausanne, around lunch time to take photos of the gorgeous sylvie getting ready for their big day – she looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and her bouquet and the flowers in her hair were simply beautiful. Preparation shots done i headed over to the church to get shots of jacques greeting the guests looking like all his christmasses had come at once ! 

quelle journée fantastique! je suis arrivée au village pittoresque de remaufens (près de Lausanne) aux alentours du déjeuner pour prendre des photos de la ravissante Sylvie se préparant pour son grand jour. Elle était superbe dans sa robe avec son bouquet et ses fleurs dans les cheveux. Les prises de la préparation faites, direction l’église avant l’arrivée de la mariée pour prendre des photos de jacques, rayonnant, accueillant et saluant les invités.

the church filled with happy guests and beautiful light, the service was very moving especially when their gorgeous little boy walked up the aisle carrying the wedding rings !  after the service the party moved on to a gite in a gorgeous setting of blessens – oh and did i mention that on top of everything else the weather was just perfect with glorious sunshine and blue sky which provided the perfect backdrop for the surprise ballon release organised by their friends and family !  a magic day that i feel very privileged to have been a part of !!

l’église avec une belle lumière était remplie d’invités heureux. le service fût particulièrement émouvant notamment quand leur adorable petit garçon remonta l’allée pour apporter les alliances des mariés! Après la cérémonie, la fête se poursuivit dans un gite situé à blessens – Ah… est-ce que j’ai mentionné qu’en plus il faisait beau, le soleil et le ciel bleu ayant constitué un arrière plan parfait pour le lacher de ballons que leur famille et amis avaient organisés !! Une journée magique à laquelle j’ai eu le privilège de participer.
