more from the beautiful lake district – this time the views … over the couple days i spent driving round the lakes i saw some beautiful places and these are some of my favourite shots of those places – blea tarn, conniston water, kirkstone pass, …





i am utterly convinced that this striking old dead tree was deliberately put in front of this stone wall and amazing view by some secret landscaping society especially for photographers ! it’s on the main road into windermere from kendal – a little bit of dodgy parking and gate climbing and i was rewarded by the sun breaking through the grey clouds to just highlight the silvery branches – beautiful ! a big thanks also to Andy Woodhouse who did the post edit work on the shot for me
